업비트 - [안내] 정보보호관리체계(ISMS) 인증 획득 안내

회원님의 자산을 최우선으로 생각하는 업비트가 
오늘 11월 26일 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)으로 부터 정보보호관리체계(ISMS*) 인증을 획득하였습니다.

ISMS는 정보통신망의 안정성 확보를 위한 기술적,물리적 보호조치 등 종합적 관리체계에 대한 인증제도이자 글로벌 보안지수의 표준 증표로서의 역할을 합니다. 지난해 12월 과학기술정보통신부의 권고로 일정 규모 이상 (전년도 매출액 100억 이상, 전년도 직전 3개월간 일일 평균 방문자 100만명 이상) 의 암호화폐 거래소는 인증 의무 대상으로 지정되었습니다.

이에 대상에 포함된 업비트는 최대한 빠른 시일 내에 회원님들께 보다 안전한 거래 환경을 제공해 드리기 위해 내부적으로 최선의 노력을 기울여왔습니다.

그리고 오늘 업비트는 드디어 과학기술정보통신부가 의무 대상으로 지정한 4대 거래소 중 최초로 ISMS 인증을 획득하였습니다. 이번 인증을 통해 회원에 대한 서비스 및 고객 정보보호 시스템을 한층 강화하고, 더욱 안정적이고 규제 친화적인 거래소를 구축하여, 회원님들께 보다 안정적인 거래 환경을 제공해 드릴 수 있게 되었습니다.

[Announcement] Upbit certified for ISMS (Information Security Management System)

Upbit, which puts your assets in front of everything, has succeeded in getting certified for ISMS* (Information Security Management System) by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) on November 26.

ISMS is a certification system for the general management of technical and physical protection measures with the purpose of securing IT network stability. Playing the role as a standard/proof of global security index, ISMS has been recommended by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) as a responsibility of major cryptocurrency exchanges with certain standings (sales of 10 billion KRW or more in the previous year, daily average visitors of one million or more during the past three months)

Being one of such major exchanges, Upbit has been striving to obtain ISMS and provide its customers with the safest trade environment as soon as possible.

And finally, Upbit has succeeded in getting certified for ISMS today, becoming the first among the four major exchanges mandated by the MSIT to get the certification. [What is ISMS*?]

• ISMS stands for Information Security Management System.
• It is a general management system which includes managerial, technical and physical protection measures to secure the safety and reliability of IT networks. In other words, ISMS is a systematic risk-management system for the overall organization which secures readiness against IT expansion, paradigm shift, and increase of cyber attacks.
• ISMS certification is conducted by a certification agency which examines whether the information protection activities of organizations/companies are systematic and continuous.
• The appropriateness of management systems is evaluated by examining 104 certification standards and 253 items related to management processes & countermeasures.
